Once you have linked your e-mail account to GhostMi you will be able to e-mail your reports. For help setting with your SMTP details please click here. After you have synced your report it will be available on GhostMi. Select the report from the report menu. Click View / Complete from the top right hand side to view a PDF version of the report. Once you have reviewed the PDF simply select E-mail report and the report will be sent directly to your client.
Can reports be e-mailed directly to my customers?
How do I pay for my subscription?
Subscriptions require payment by a credit or debit card. When you sign up for your account you will be asked to enter your card details. Depending on the subscription level you choose you can either buy credits in advance as and when you need them or choose a monthly package and the cost will debited from your chosen card. You can download invoices from GhostMI.com
Can I have the free trial without entering my card details?
The free trial is available on all subscription accounts. In order to set up an account you must enter your card details but payment will not be taken until the free trial expires. If you cancel within this period then you will not be charged.
What devices will the Ghost App work on?
The app works on the majority of Android and Apple devices.
Minimum recommendations are as follows...

How do I add different users / inventory clerks?
You can add users individually or import them in bulk if you have a number to add. Select Users from the left hand menu bar in GhostMi and then select how you wish to add the details. You can create your user's password, user name and add a photo at this stage. You will not be able to save the user until the required information is added. If you wish to add multiple users you can import them in CSV format. You will need to select the correct user access level for each user. Only Client Admin users have the ability to delete any records.
How do I log into the Ghost App
Your log in details will be the same on The Ghost App and GhostMi. After you have downloaded the app it will open on the main menu screen. Select Login and enter your user name and password.
How do I log into GhostMi?
Your log in details will be the same on The Ghost App and GhostMi. To access GhostMI.com simply enter your user name and password on the login screen at www.ghostmi.com
Can I put my company logo on my reports?
Your company logo will appear on the report front cover if you have uploaded your logo at GhostMi.com. When creating your user account you will be given the option to upload a company logo. To do this at a later date simply go back into your user account, upload the image and save the changes.
Can I change the standard inventory report text?
You can edit the report text and declarations via GhostMi. To edit the declarations select Settings>General Settings>Declarations. You can then edit the text and select Save Declarations once you are done. To edit the report text select Settings>General Settings>PDF. Under PDF Contents you can add text to each type of report.
Can I add my own report cover?
You can choose a report cover from a selection to suit your business via GhostMi. Follow the following steps: Settings>General Settings>PDF. Simply highlight the front cover you wish to use and click Save PDF settings. You can also add your company logo by uploading your logo in your user account.

I’ve completed the report on The Ghost App – what now?
Once you have completed the report on The Ghost App you need to return to the Reports page. You can do this quickly from the Checklist by selecting the Home button from the bottom menu bar. Select Sync Reports and then the report that you wish to complete by ticking the relevant grey circle. Once you have selected the report press the grey Sync Reports button. You will receive an on screen notification once the report has successfully synced.
How do I start a new property inventory report?
A new report can either be created on GhostMI.com or directly on The Ghost App. Here’s how to create the report at GhostMI.com. If the property already exists select Properties from the left hand menu bar. Enter the property address into the search bar and select the property from the list. On the right hand side of the page is a blue button ‘+New Report’. Click this button and select the report type that you wish to create. You can then assign the report to the correct user. The next time the user syncs The Ghost App the report will download to their device. Alternatively a report can be added directly onto the app from the My Reports page.
How do I add a new property to GhostMi?
Select Properties from the left hand menu bar and click the blue Add Property button in the right hand corner. Enter the property details and click save. GhostMi will automatically recognise any duplicated property records if the first line and postcode match. A new property record will also be created automatically if a report is synced from the app and the property record does not already exist.
How do I download the Ghost app?
The app can be found in both the App Store and Google Play. Enter Ghost Inventory Software into the search bar and download. Alternatively you can click the Download button above which will take you straight there. Once downloaded, use the log in details you used to set up your account to log into the app.
How do I set up my account?
Setting up your account is quick and easy. Simply click the Create Account button at the top of this page and follow the step by step instructions. You will be asked to select the package that is right for you and enter your payment details (if you are eligible for the free trial you will not be charged until the end of the free trial period).
